We just couldn’t resist booking a day trip tour out to one of the wonders of the world!
WHAT WE DID
We booked a 1 day tour which cost about €40 each but included:
Transport there and back via a bus. A buffet lunch with a lovely mix of vegetarian, meats and seafood. A boat tour around the area. A stop off for a bamboo boat ride or kayaking. A cave tour through some truly magnificent caves.
WHAT WE LIKED MOST
Getting to experience the area of beauty. Although a whistle stop tour it was lovely to get to see the place in both the mist and
sunshine. We’ve never seen anywhere like it before!
WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE
The journey there and back was longer than we actually had at the place! It also included a stop on the way there and the way
back at a services for over half an hour which no one was interested in. And do not buy stuff there! It’s more expensive than Europe! Complete rip off.
Tips & Tricks
Despite the long journey it is best to do it through a tour company. It would be a
lot harder and probably a lot more expensive to try and arrange getting there and a boat tour on your own. It seems to work well
as a tour group destination for now so best to follow the crowd on this one!
